The OS Aussies Mission

logo-small

Welcome,

OS Aussies is for anyone who has an interest in football in Australia and the men and women who fly the flag for us in all corners of the world. The aim of the site is to share the footballing exploits of the numerous Aussies across the globe, as well as, discuss various aspects of the game from the perspective of every section of the football community.

Hopefully, with the generous co-operation of the footballing community we will be able to provide information on the current situation of the players, as well as, the experiences they’ve had on their journey. This would include things such as injury updates, match reports (minutes played, stats, personal assessment of performance etc), player movements (loans/transfers) and anything else that may be of interest to the footballing public.

As we all know, it is quite easy to pick up the paper or log onto a footballing website to see our superstars such as Mark Schwarzer coming to Fulham’s rescue with some impossible save, or Timmy Cahill putting in another dogged performance for Everton giving whatever it takes to help his team. What OS Aussies hopes to achieve is share not only these amazing stories but also update people on those players who are striving to be the next Kewell, Viduka, Simon or Murray.

By providing this platform for players we hope to show that there is more out there than just the EPL, La Liga and Serie A. Success comes in many forms and can be achieved even playing in the lesser known areas of the footballing world.

Inspiration can be garnered from not only those at the top of a profession but also those who are giving it their all to reach their own personal top. There are a plethora of such inspiring untold stories waiting to be shared and this is what OS Aussies ultimately hopes to do.

OS Aussies will strive to bring everyone from players, coaches, media, and fans together to give their opinions, share their experiences, and ultimately learn from one another in order to support the growth of the beautiful game in Australia.

If you’d like to be involved in anyway, please don’t hesitate to contact us at osaussies@yahoo.com. You can follow us on Twitter (@OSaussies), and we have a Facebook page too.
